What is a yoga belt? A yoga belt can assist you in yoga poses where you might wish to extend your reach, for example in Paschimottanasana (Seated Forward Fold), a reclining leg stretch, Utthita Hasta Padangustasana (Extended Hand-to-Big-Toe) or Supta Padangusthasana (Reclining Hand-to-Big-Toe), and many more. By extending your reach in a pose, it helps to aid proper alignment throughout the pose, to prevent rounding the shoulders or overstretching/straining to get into a posture when you’re not quite ready.
